Arrival Time
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment. If you arrive late, we cannot guarantee the full length of your service, however you will be responsible for payment in full.
Our Service Guarantee
We make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience at Hair By Marianne. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at the time of your service or within 48 hours after your service has been performed.
Refunds
All services are non-refundable but we will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge. The service must be a mistake from the service provider, not something you might have changed your mind (after the service has been performed). In case of a disagreement, a redo must be validated by management. You have 48 hours to contact the Salon to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction. Corrective services will not be allowed 5 days past initial service date. It is important you contact Hair By Marianne as soon as you are unhappy so we can schedule you As Soon As Possible for a corrective service. Please keep in mind, using box color or going from Darker to Lighter tones may result in more than one service to achieve your desired result.
Right to Refuse Service
Hair By Marianne reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to any member of our staff.
Return Policy
We are happy to return any retail products you purchased within 7 days of original purchase. No cash value is given however an in Salon credit will be issued.
24 Hour Cancellation Policy
We understand that unexpected situations can arise, leading to the need for appointment cancellations or changes. To ensure that both our guests and our staff's time is respected, we kindly request that you inform us of any cancellations or rescheduling at least 24 hours before your appointment. This allows us sufficient time to accommodate other clients in case you need to cancel. For Hair Extension services, we require a 72-hour notice for rescheduling or cancellation. Appointments canceled within the hours of the scheduled service will incur a fee amounting to 50% of the reserved services' cost. This fee will be charged to the credit card we have on file to secure your reservation or added to your next service bill. Additionally, frequent last-minute rescheduling, cancellations, or no-shows will require a 50% deposit, which can be applied towards the cost of your next scheduled service.
No Show
In order to respect our time, if an appointment is no showed you will be subject to a no show fee charge of 100% of the total amount due for services, and possibly deposit for future appointments. Please be advised if you NO Show on a Re-Do Reservation we will not be able to schedule a new reservation free of charge.
Late Arrival
Please be courteous to your stylist and other clients. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may have to reschedule your appointment and assess a fee for the cost of services that you were scheduled for.
Children
Our Children's prices are for children under the age of 12 Children over the age of 12 are charged for full price services. All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If a Child under the age of 18 is receiving a service, a consent form must be signed prior to the service is performed.

You may request a reservation through our website. Just click the Make an Appointment/Reservation Button below.
Online Scheduling
Your request will be scheduled based on our availability. Your request IS NOT APPROVED until you receive confirmation from Hair By Marianne. Please Note: A credit card can be required to make a reservation and it will be kept on file for future reservations and any fees that may be incurred.
Head Lice
It is against Hair By Marianne Policy to perform services on clients with head lice. If a client has been diagnosed with head lice while receiving a service in the salon we would not be able to complete the service the same day. We would be able to complete the service within 48 hours once the head lice treatment has been completed.

Information collected from this site is only used if we need to contact you for further information regarding your appointment. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in providing us with your contact information.
New Client Booking Policy
New clients booking appointments: When booking an appointment at Hair By Marianne Hair salon, a non-refundable and non-transferable, equal to 50% of the selected service, is required upon booking. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the chosen service(s). Once your appointment is booked, a team member will communicate the specific deposit amount associated with your selected service(s) and confirm your appointment. . Clients are permitted to reschedule their appointments without penalty if cancellations are made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. However, cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment may lead to the forfeiture of the deposited amount.
Referral Program
Hair By Marianne has a referral program. If you refer anyone to Hair by Marianne Hair Salon Services Dedham MA. You’ll both receive a $25 credit towards any purchase, hair but or treatment
Product Purchase, Return and Shipping Policy
Report any discrepancies or damages within 24-48 hours of receipt.
If your package has visible damage at the time of delivery, refuse the shipment from the carrier and contact us immediately. We will work with the manufacturer to get a replacement shipped to you at no additional cost.
**The buyer, our customer, becomes responsible for the package at the time of shipment. If damages were not noted on the freight bill at the time of delivery, the freight claim process also becomes the responsibility of the buyer. Please do not accept damaged packages without noting the damages on the freight bill. All freight bills are scanned into the carrier’s database and shared with the manufacturer if disputes arise.
If there is concealed damage on an accepted delivery:
1. Email us at marianne@hairbymarianne.com or call direct at 617-462-4837 within 2 business days of delivery.
2. Include a photo of the damage with your email.
3. Keep the damaged product for possible inspection by the carrier.
